Nearly two years and endless amounts of blood and money in the making, Suzi lives and breathes again. She weeps a tiny bit of oil from the revised and siliconed head gasket (gaah!) and she won't idle below 2000 rpm, and the rear brake doesn't work anymore - but she runs DAMN good and pulls like a freight train. I ran her down to the local gas station to fill her up with premium and relived the days of wind-in-my-chest muscle-bike glory with the added joy of vintage rat-bike style.Now the question remains: can I really sell her? (My Discover card balance will probably answer that one for me)

Awesome man, glad to hear you got it all back together!!! Looks nice.
Can't wait to get back to working on the Volvos...I haven't posted here in a long time.
I've also got the motorcycle bug like CRAZY...maybe I will start looking for something next summer.
Thanks! It's running ok, albeit with an oil leak and a high surgy idle (varnished carbs) - I'm going to do the paperwork with JD and sign it over in his name for part of the asking price, the rest to be forthcoming after we deal with the headgasket probably in January or February or whenever funds allow...
